Our Crowdfunding Groups
For the first time ever, we are able to campaign and fund raise for our Virginia state educational 4-H Horse Program teams - Hippology, Horse Bowl, Horse Judging, Individual Presentations, Team Presentations and Public Speaking! We hope you will join us in this exciting way to give back to a program that has been the conduit to many leaders and professionals in our equine community today!
The 4-Hers have worked very hard this year and now the winning teams at EquiSmartz have earned their way to Southern Regionals 4-H Horse Championships and Eastern National 4-H Roundup! With the representation of approximately 34 top youth from all six contests at these interstate competitions, expenses add up, much at the burden of the competitors, coaches and parents.
With this campaign opportunity, we are now able to honor a way for individuals and businesses to financially support the dreams and goals of 4-Hers. We are fortunate as a land grant university to have funding for staff, however programming expenses are not covered. This is why we need your help! We are asking for you to take part in supporting these youth, in whatever amount you can give, to help fund their travel, hotel, meals and entries for these prestigious, once-in-a-lifetime contests and specialized study sessions.
Our supporters are family to us and we appreciate greatly, the special relationship we have developed over many successful years. We believe our alumni, friends and volunteers are ready and willing to support this cause. Please help us reach our goal for our top Virginia 4-H youth teams!

$100/hotel room - minimum 3 nights = $300

All American Quarter Horse Congress - Columbus, Ohio
$200/team - Entry Fees
$150/hotel room - minimum 3 nights = $450
$500 - travel/meals = $500
Total = $1,150/team
Eastern National 4-H Horse Round Up - Louisville, Kentucky
$300/team - Entry Fees
$175/hotel room - minimum 2 nights = $350
$300 - misc fees (food, travel, supplies) = $300
Total = $950/team
Total MINIMUM cost to send all educational teams to regional and national contests = $20,520

Bronze Level Donations start at $10 and will help fund entry fees and study session supplies and materials for Virginia 4-H Educational Teams. (donations $10 - $49)
Silver Level Donations start at $50 and will help fund entry fees for Virginia 4-H Educational Teams. (donations $50 - $99)
Gold Level Donations start at $100 and will help fund partial travel for Virginia 4-H Educational Teams (donations $100 - $249)
Ruby Level Donations start at $250 and will help fund a full team entry fees or study sessions (donations $250 - $399).
Sapphire Level Donations start at $400 and will help fund entire team travel and entry fees. (donation $400 - $649)
Diamond Level Donations start at $650 and will go toward fully funding one team's entire trip to a national level contest ($650+)
