With seven days left to go, we've exceeded our $3,000 fundraising goal! Between 68 of you, we’ve raised $3,172 so far for the Campus Kitchen at Virginia Tech. Thank you so much for your incredible generosity! We are so excited to use this money to help support the growth of the Campus Kitchen and reach more people in our community.
We’re going to keep fundraising until our campaign closes next Tuesday, November 14! Our stretch goal is to raise $3,600 – that additional $600 could be used to send another student leader to a conference to keep building their knowledge and skills. Can you help us to continue to spread the word about our campaign on social media and help us reach our stretch goal? #FeedTheNRV
Powered by a team of dedicated volunteers, Campus Kitchen connects the Virginia Tech campus to our community. Each week, food is diverted in six of our dining centers, then picked up and delivered to two community partners, keeping quality, unused food from going to waste. See for yourself in our brief video! It's Virginia Tech's motto, Ut Prosim (That I May Serve), in action. Thank you for your support of this program - we're at 85% of our goal with 12 days left! We're deeply grateful to each of you who have donated.
Wow. In one week, we've reached 54% of our $3,000 goal through gifts from 27 donors. Thank you all for your incredible generosity!
We wanted to share our updated numbers so you can see the work you're supporting. In just two years, check out what we've accomplished - that's a lot of quality food saved from landfills and distributed to our partners, Radford-Fairlawn Daily Bread and the Giving Tree Food Pantry.
Thank you again for supporting Campus Kitchen! #FeedTheNRV
