The Virginia Tech chapter of Engineers without Borders needs money to allow our project teams to purchase materials and subsidize travel costs for students so they can connect with underdeveloped communities and design engineering solutions.
Over the next few weeks, we will be crowdfunding to help fund our current projects to continue solving problems and putting our ideas to work!
Our current projects include a wastewater treatment project in Guatemala, a solar energy project in Uganda, and an irrigation and seed storage project in Nicaragua.
The Virginia Tech chapter of Engineers without Borders is a service organization that works to connect engineers with communities that need our help, all over the world.
Our mission is to partner with disadvantaged areas to improve their quality of life through the implementation of environmentally, equitably, and economically sustainable engineering projects while developing internationally responsible engineers and engineering students through education, encouragement, and experience.
We engage in international projects, local service projects, and community outreach.
All money donated will go to directly to our organization, helping us to fulfill our mission and live out Virginia Tech's motto Ut Prosim (That I May Serve)!
