Support Awareness and Advocacy for Addiction | Homecoming 2026
Description
My name is Dianna White, and I am running for VT Homecoming 2026 with Chi Alpha Campus Ministry. My campaign exists to advocate for substance misuse awareness and recovery options for college students and beyond. This campaign focuses on the signs of drug and alcohol addiction while equipping students with options for lasting recovery. Additionally, my campaign will provide a space for healthy conversations around alcoholism and drug recovery.
I will be partnering with The Recovery Community at Virginia Tech to raise funds and awareness of recovery options. Collegiate recovery is necessary and growing. The Recovery Community partners with Hokie Wellness to ensure that every student has the access and support they need to thrive in recovery. Money that is raised will go to the Recovery Community to help host events and develop more resources for those in recovery.
