50 For 50: Celebrating 50 Seasons of Hokie Women's Basketball

Virginia Tech Women’s Basketball is proud to celebrate 50 seasons of varsity competition during the 2025-26 campaign. All season long, we’ll honor the people, moments, and milestones that built the foundation of our program and shaped its legacy, culminating in a special 50th Season Celebration on February 1.

Join us in fueling the next 50 years of success of Hokie Women’s Basketball through our 50 for 50 Campaign. Every gift makes a difference and thanks to a generous match, all contributions made between October 1-March 1 will be matched, dollar for dollar, up to $50,000.

Your gift will help provide opportunities for:

• Capital Projects: together we will continue to refine our home facilities to help us remain competitive as we direct our efforts toward student-athlete recruitment and retention.
• Student-Athlete Development and Experience: we remain committed to providing student-athletes with a world class collegiate experience and mentoring them into leaders both on and off the court through innovative programming and personalized support.
• Domestic and International Recruiting: we must attract and retain top talent in Blacksburg.
• Personnel: we will constantly evolve to support the needs of our students-athletes and to meet our expectations for recruitment.
