Advocating for Survivors with Amelia
sexual assault. The goal is to help bring awareness and educate people on how to have difficult
conversations with their peers. No one should have to experience sexual assault or endure the
challenging healing process, but unfortunately it’s a common issue, especially on college
campuses. My aim is to help create supportive communities for survivors as they go through
their healing journeys, because no one should have to face it alone.
(Campus Advocacy, Resources, and Education for Survivors) program. They work hard to
provide support and foster community for everyone on campus. They advocate for survivors,
offer resources for prevention, and guide students in moving forward after assault. The Women’s
Center grounds its work in inclusivity, intersectionality, trauma-informed care, anti-racism, social
justice, and anti-oppression.
Gifts of any amount will directly support the Women’s Center work with survivors of sexual
assault and will make a difference in the experience of the students involved.
