My platform Buckle Up with Brooks promotes wearing one's seat belt by spreading and strengthening the awareness behind the importance of Buckling Up. The mission of my platform is to educate the student body on the life-saving impacts when making the 3 second decision to wear your seatbelt, for my seatbelt is the reason why I am still alive right now.
My partnering organization, the Virginia Tech Transportation Institute (VTTI), conducts research to save lives by advancing transportation through innovation. With an emphasis on technology development and vehicle safety, the VTTI is responsible for designing and idealizing transportation safety solutions that create positive results on our roads.
Gifts of any amount will go towards supporting my partnering department VTTI, making a difference in the experience of students involved.
