Checking Early with Rachel is all about informing students about the importance of being proactive about their health and being knowledgeable about the signs of breast cancer. Having information is a powerful tool and something I believe is very important for students to have about their health.
My platform is partnering with Schiffert Health Center, Virginia Tech’s on-campus health care center, whose goal is to provide quality health care to students to help keep them healthy and cared for during their time at Virginia Tech. My platform focuses on giving students the tools to be proactive in their own health and to know when they need to seek medical care from providers like Schiffert.
Gifts of any amount will go towards supporting Schiffert Health Center's work with Breast Cancer Awareness and will make a difference in the experience of the students involved.
