Support Reid Burton and G.E.R.M.A.N. Club - Homecoming 2022

My sponsoring organization, G.E.R.M.A.N. Club, is the oldest non-greek fraternal organization at Virginia Tech. It was founded in 1892 to provide a social outlet for the student body, and has transformed over the years to provide the University with an organization dedicated to Leadership, Service, and Fellowship. The G.E.R.M.A.N Club has a long history of running candidates for Homecoming with mental health platforms, and as a whole the organization focuses on developing men to be healthy in all aspects, including mentally.

An estimated 49.5% of adolescents have had a mental health disorder at some point in their lives, and 70% of adolescents with mental disorders do not receive needed care. My campaign, Reaching Out with Reid, is focused on providing mental health resources and education to middle and high school kids, spreading awareness about the mental health challenges of those adolescent years, and helping those facing these challenges to better understand mental illness and that it's okay to reach out and get help. 

Gifts of any amount will go towards supporting G.E.R.M.A.N. Club's brotherhood and will make a difference in the experience of the students involved.
