Helping others is what Hokies do -- can you step up to help an incoming first year student from DFW?
Each year chapters around the world rally together to raise money for student scholarships. They make a difference for Hokies just starting their journey at Virginia Tech, helping to offset the costs of books and tuition. Without our customary fundraising at Watch Parties and Speaker Events, we have decided to use a Crowdfunding approach and ask you to support our scholarships.
We are SO PROUD of our DFW area applicants! This year DOUBLE the number of applicants from our area were offered admission to Virginia Tech’s Class of 2025. In keeping with that trend, we would like to offer a second or third scholarship to keep up with this growing interest in attending our Alma Mater!
You can support one of these new Hokies from the area by making a gift to the chapter’s scholarship campaign. Together, DFW Hokies are trying to raise $2,500.
Gifts of any size matter and it's a chance to help our community. Donors to our scholarship fund through this page will be thanked with a special Virginia Tech alumni sticker so you can let everyone know that you care about supporting the Hokie experience!
Don’t miss your chance to help a local student.
