Virginia Tech Softball is on fire yet again this season, beginning conference play undefeated for the first nine games, a feat they've now done twice in the past three seasons. The Hokies have also been unbeaten at home this year, they hold a 12-0 record at Tech Softball Park.
The team reached a new high this past weekend, capping off a three-game sweep of Boston College with a 13-4 victory Sunday afternoon. The victory marked the 300th such outcome for Hokies' head coach Pete D'Amour, a sign of longevity and sustained success at this level of competition.
