Head coach Kristen Skiera wrapped up her second year at the helm of the Virginia Tech lacrosse in a 2023 season that saw the program’s 200th all-time victory over VCU on February 11. Sophomore Olivia Vergano led the team in scoring with 50 total goals, followed by freshman Ella Rishko with 44. Freshman goalie Jocelyn Torres picked up Tech’s first ACC Defensive Player of the Week honors in nearly five years on April 4, and Rishko was named ACC Offensive Player of the Week on April 11 following a seven goal performance over Louisville The Hokies successfully managed their loaded schedule, highlighted by a 14-13 triple overtime victory over No. 20 Duke on April 1.
