Welcome to My Crowdfunding Page!
My name is Julia Morris and I am honored to be a part of the 2019 Homecoming Court with my sponsoring organization, Alpha Phi. I want to take this incredible opportunity to raise awareness towards the struggles that military veterans and military families that have suffered a loss face. Disabled veterans and families like my own who have suffered the irreplaceable loss of a loved one in the military often suffer in silence and are unaware of the countless resources that they have access to in order to help cope with their losses. My goal with this platform is to create awareness around these struggles that those affected face and provide them with the tools and resources to stand on their feet again. With the help of the Hokie Community, I hope to donate money to philanthropic organizations that help these veterans and families during their time of need. Through our efforts to aid the Virginia Tech campus communities, Orange and Maroon Supporting Red, White, and Blue helps each member live out the Virginia Tech mission statement daily by serving others.
