Donations at this level will be used to help alleviate the costs associate with volunteer training. All camp volunteers must receive a minimum of 24 hours of training. This can be both costly in time and financially especially for the teens who serve as counselors and CITs.
Donations made to support the teen counselors will help subsidize their costs to attend camp and make it a wholesome environment for our campers. Teen Counselors are critical to making camp safe.
This donation will cover some of the cost for campers and families that need a little help paying for camp.
This donation will provide funding for one youth to attend the Dinwiddie 4-H Junior Camp.
Each year we try to host an overnight training for our teen counselors to practice team building and learn the in's and out's of being a camp counselor. This is costly activity for our teens and many cannot afford the cost of the various trainings.
