Delta Sigma Phi - Matthew Ferrari

Did you know that suicide is currently the second leading cause of death among college students today? My name is Matthew Ferrari and I am teaming up with Delta Sigma Phi to create 'Be There for a Friend in Need' with Matt Ferrari. The main priority of this campaign is to provide care packages for suicide survivors as well as individuals affected by a suicide. These packages will not only contain educational materials/resources, but also small items to make your day just a tad brighter. Ideas for these items include voucher for a free slice of Benny's pizza, a pass for a workout class at McComas gym, watercolor paints, Hokie gear, and herbal teas. Suicide survivor support, awareness, and prevention is an extremely important and relevant issue at Virginia tech and I am excited to make a difference that will directly benefit our school and the Blacksburg community.
