Many thanks to everyone who donated and helped spread the word about our fundraising initiative. We raised $3,500! With the 1:1 match provided by the Global Change Center, this will fully fund an Undergraduate Science Policy Fellowship and allow us to send a Hokie to Washington, DC this summer!!
We are incredibly grateful for your support! We are now accepting fellowship applications with a submission deadline of December 1st. More information can be found on the GCC website.
Our fundraising initiative for the Science Policy Fellowship Program is halfway there! So far, we have raised almost $1200, which is 16% of our final goal. If you have already contributed, thank you for your support!

We’re excited to get started! For the next 30 days, The Global Change Center is fundraising to fully support sending a Virginia Tech student to Washington, DC for a summer internship experience. One Science Policy Fellowship ($7,000) funds summer tuition, living expenses, transit, and a cost of living stipend for a science or engineering student to intern in our nation’s capital. And…for every dollar you give, the Global Change Center will match (1:1) your donation!! The net result? When we achieve our fundraising goal, we will be positioned to fund TWO Science-Policy fellowships next year!
