Our crowdfunding project wrapped up last week, and we have to say -- we are amazed. You all pitched in to support our work to make soccer safer, and we are THRILLED to say that we reached our funding goal! (With a few hours to go, too!)

Thanks to your support, we'll be able to purchase the headbands we need to test in the Helmet Lab. We're excited to get started, and we'll check back in when the results are in a few months from now.

Hi everyone!

Well, we're almost there; with just a few days left in our campaign, we're in awe of the progress we've made! We've raised more than $5000 from people like you, who want to make sure that sports are as safe as possible for young players, and we're so grateful. 

As we get closer to the finish line, we want to spread the word as much as we can about our project. If you know anyone who might be interested in hearing about this research -- maybe a parent whose child plays soccer -- we'd love it if you could share our link: https://crowdfund.vt.edu/project/6066. Whether people give or not, we want as many people as possible to know about our research, because that's the best way to make sure that players are protected on the field -- and that's what we're passionate about.

Thanks to all of you, we're 50 percent of the way to our $10,000 goal! There's a lot left to do, but we're celebrating how far we've come — and so grateful for your support. It has motivated us to work even harder for the eight days left in the project; we know we'll make it! Thank you!
