My platform is about body positivity because everyone deserves feel comfortable in their own skin. I chose this platform because throughout my adolescence I was bullied for being overweight, and I decided to change that my loosing 100lbs in six months. I still struggle with being overweight, but I do not want anyone to feel the way I felt when I was bullied for my weight. I believe in Feel Good with Fil because everyone deserves to be comfortable and happy in their own body.
I am partnering with Virginia Tech Rec Sports because if I am selected to Royalty, I will put on a body positivity march for people to emphasize who they are and that they are happy with themselves. Rec Sports perfectly encompasses my mission of body positivity by promoting similar values, and they will be able to help me execute a body positivity march for students. Body positivity matters a lot in the current world and Rec Sports and myself will be able to partner together and push our message of body positivity.
Gifts of any amount will go towards supporting Rec Sports’ work with body positivity and healthy habits and will make a difference in the experience of the students involved.
