When it comes to providing a child with a life-changing experience, there’s nothing quite like 4-H summer camp. 4-H Camp is more than just a place, it is about the experiences campers have. This includes growing an interest in spending time outdoors, cultivating new life skills, developing willingness to try new things, and an increase in social awareness, independence, and grit.
Camp provides the full benefits of a 4-H experience, coupled with the fun and wonder of camping in the great outdoors while building critical life skills, such as resilience and independence.
There are many ways you can support 4-H youth. This summer we hope to provide each camper with a 4-H branded reusable water bottle. Keeping them engaged, on the go, and hydrated requires a lot of water! With more than 12,000 youth served at Virginia’s six 4-H Educational Centers each summer, we aim to improve hydration, promote conservation, and keep up to 96,000 plastic water bottles out of the landfill. In addition to making a positive impact on the environment, this will also provide campers with a built-in souvenir to remember their time at camp. Little things can make a big difference!

Provide reusable 4-H branded water bottles for two campers this summer. You'll help keep them hydrated and promote conservation.
Promote 4-H conservation for one junior camper at each of our six 4-H educational centers by providing 6 reusable water bottles for 6 campers.
Provide partial support for the 4-H camping experience for a Virginia youth.
