Hello. Welcome to Studio Collective.
We are a completely student-run design journal initiated by students in the School of Architecture and School of Design, celebrating the work of students with the aim to broaden awareness and conversations about design. We work together in interdisciplinary teams to publish a new edition at the end of each semester. Aside from documenting and responding to people, events, and places around Southwest Virginia/Appalachia, Studio Collective garners love and admiration for celebrating the work of students, alumni, and faculty of Virginia Tech.
Studio Collective was born in the Spring of 2014 and will publish its seventeenth journal this Fall of 2022. Your contribution will fund the necessary expenses to keep our team on the road producing stories, promoting voices that we believe deserve to be amplified, and working with the next generation of students who will carry on the legacy of the journal. We invite all to join us in the Cowgill Hall lobby at the end of each semester to browse our work and consider purchasing a copy of the latest publication. Please keep a close eye on our Instagram page for more information on our lobby days.
