The Sport Club Program General Fund was recently established to be a resource to benefit all aspects of the Virginia Tech Sport Club Program. The General Fund will be used to help sport clubs defray some of the many costs associated with qualifying to compete at national championship tournaments. Airfare, hotel rooms, van rentals and tournament entry fees for national championship tournaments are oftentimes quite expensive and place a great deal of financial stress on teams. With many of our sport clubs regularly competing for national championships, the General Fund will provide needed financial assistance for teams who need to pay for these additional expenses.
The General Fund will also provide important financial assistance as we continue make improvements to sport club facilities. Plans are underway to add new scoreboards and shot clocks to all four sport club fields, and your donation to the General Fund can help make these program enhancements a reality. Your support of the Virginia Tech Sport Club Program General Fund will help ensure our student-athletes have the best possible experience as they continue to build on the tradition of excellence that past participants have helped establish.
