Make an impact by giving gift today

Since opening its doors in fall 2020, The Market of Virginia Tech has become a key part of the university’s efforts to address food insecurity among students in Blacksburg. 

Each week, participating Hokies come to The Market to pick up fresh produce, meat or vegetarian protein, dairy products, pantry staples, fun treats, and more. Students select about ten meals worth of ingredients per week that meet their unique dietary needs. In the 2020-2021 academic year, The Market provided participating students with more than 14,000 meals worth of ingredients.

Now, we’re aiming to extend the reach of The Market even further by increasing the number of students enrolled in the program by 20 percent this semester. To do so, we need your help.
