My name is Kate Revels and I am honored to be a part of the 2019 Homecoming Court with my sponsoring organization, Kappa Delta. I want to take this incredible opportunity to raise awareness towards my platform, Capturing Confidence with Kate. My platform aims help college students instill skill-based confidence and embrace their strengths. It is important to be able to highlight confidence in our strengths rather than constantly harping on our weaknesses, which can be detrimental to our health. As college students, we only have a short time to focus on truly grasping our strengths and encouraging growth in confidence before we transition again into the real world of graduate school, employment or wherever life may take you next. Through our efforts to aid the Virginia Tech campus communities, Capturing Confidence with Kate helps each member live out the Virginia Tech mission statement daily by serving others.
