Welcome to My Crowdfunding Page!
My name is Diego Sabugo and I am honored to be a part of the 2019 Homecoming Court with my sponsoring organization, Sigma Phi Epsilon. I want to take this incredible opportunity to raise awareness towards I’ll See You Tomorrow. This campaign’s goal is to prevent suicide by stimulating the mental health conversation focusing on mindfulness and resilience. It invites people to find awareness of their own mental health and how it affects their everyday lives. I wanted to do this because I believe that college students are thrusted a lot of responsibility after leaving home that it may be hard for them to adjust. This time in our lives is a crucial point of development and is a time where we need to audit our own mental health before heading off to life after college. I wish to be the light in someone’s dark place and I urge others to also be that same light for their friends and loved ones. We need to be reminded that we are stronger than we think and that any pain we endure, we will grow from it. Through our efforts to aid the Virginia Tech campus communities, I’ll See You Tomorrow helps each member live out the Virginia Tech mission statement daily by serving others.
