CEED Computers and Technology at Virginia Tech (C-Tech^2)
Computers and Technology at Virginia Tech (CTech^2) is two-week immersive experience for junior and senior females to explore applications of engineering in a fun and exciting way. CTech^2 offers the opportunity to learn about college life—from residence halls to classrooms and everything in-between! It provides access to information and technology necessary to best prepare you for your future.
CTech^2 campers get a first-hand look of what it is like to be a Hokie and help determine if Virginia Tech Engineering is indeed in their future. Campers will tour many of the engineering labs on campus, attend seminars to help prepare for the college application process, complete an engineering design project with corporate sponsors, and interact with other aspiring female engineers interested in pursuing careers in STEM related fields. Campers will get to know current Virginia Tech engineering students and faculty, and will walk away with an in-depth introduction to life as a Virginia Tech Hokie and create new memories and friendships that will last a lifetime.
“I wanted to thank the C-Tech^2 staff, coordinators, and professors for providing me with an invaluable experience I will remember for the rest of my life. Attending this camp helped my love for math, science, and engineering flourish through a shared interest with other females. I discovered what I love about both engineering and Virginia Tech and made so many amazing friends during my time at camp.”
